Short Story and Script Contest
The Rogers Offering is hosting a contest in collaboration with Ms. Larsen and Ms. Armstrong to give Rogers students an opportunity to share their stories and earn extra credit. Submissions can include any narrative work, including, but not limited to, short stories and scripts. These can be any work, whether it's new or old, originating in English class, or from your own ideas. Short stories should be about 300-700 words long, and poems must be at least ten lines. Your work can be submitted under the "Reader Submissions" tab from Monday, April 23rd to Friday, May 4th. When submitting your work, please include a title and your name. Also, if you would like to be published anonymously, please specify, but make sure to still give us your name. Everyone who submits a work will be given an academic reward determined by your English teacher, and three winners will be selected by the members of the literary magazine. Those who win will get to be published in the next edition of The Rogers Offering, and an additional prize also determined by your English teacher. We look forward to seeing the creativity of Rogers Middle School!
